Our Mission

The Canadian research community has been underserved for too long. Researchers shouldn't have to choose between waiting weeks for international shipments and accepting unknown purity. We built Based Peptides to fix that — to ship lab-tested, research-grade peptides from Canada via Canada Post, with transparent documentation and pricing in Canadian dollars.

What We Stand For

Verified Purity

Every batch we sell is independently HPLC-tested to 99%+ purity. Mass spectrometry confirms molecular identity. We provide batch-specific Certificates of Analysis, not generic spec sheets.

Canadian Fulfillment

Every order ships from our Canadian warehouse via Canada Post. No CBSA delays. No brokerage fees. No customs paperwork. Just reliable domestic delivery from coast to coast.

Research Integrity

We frame our products clearly as research chemicals for in vitro laboratory use only. We do not make therapeutic claims. We do not provide dosing guidance for humans. Every product page reinforces the research-use-only designation.

Transparent Pricing

Prices in Canadian dollars. Taxes calculated by province at checkout. Real shipping rates from Canada Post. No hidden fees, no currency conversion surprises.

Our Quality Process

  1. Sourcing. We source from manufacturers that follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and use solid-phase peptide synthesis with Fmoc chemistry.
  2. Independent Testing. Every batch is sent to a third-party analytical laboratory for HPLC purity analysis and mass spectrometry identity confirmation.
  3. Documentation. Each lot ships with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis containing the chromatogram, mass spec data, and testing methodology.
  4. Cold Chain Handling. Lyophilized peptides are stored at controlled temperatures and shipped quickly via Canada Post to minimize transit exposure.
  5. Customer Verification. Every order requires acknowledgment that the products are intended for laboratory research use only.

What We Carry

We currently stock five research peptides that represent the most-requested compounds across Canadian research labs:

  • BPC-157 — pentadecapeptide for tissue research
  • TB-500 — Thymosin beta-4 fragment for cellular migration studies
  • Retatrutide — first triple agonist (GLP-1, GIP, glucagon)
  • CJC-1295 DAC — long-acting GHRH analog
  • Semax — heptapeptide for neuropeptide research

Our catalog grows based on what Canadian researchers ask for. If there's a research peptide you need that we don't stock yet, let us know.

Compliance and Legal Framework

Based Peptides operates within Health Canada's regulatory framework for research chemicals. Our products are sold strictly as research chemicals for in vitro laboratory use, never as therapeutic drugs. We do not market for human consumption, and we do not provide medical guidance. This is the legal basis on which the entire research peptide industry operates in Canada — and we take it seriously. Learn more about peptide legality in Canada →
